Question by nectar_pepsi: Are gambling websites fair?
Do seemingly reputable casino gambling websites, such as ladbrokes.com and 888.com, operate fairly? I have noticed when playing Blackjack online for example, that unlikely losses are sometimes preceded by a long pause, as if the system can see you are doing well so it comes up with a way to make you lose. I have also noticed that you always seem to do really well when you start playing, to lure into a sense of security, but then after a while a pattern emerges and the banker keeps winning in highly unlikely ways (such as repeated instances of the banker getting a string of low value cards that add up to 21).
Do these games work exactly as they would in a casino, where the cards are shuffled and predetermined, or is it some kind of computer programme that is less favourable to the player? Are these sites a con?

I do not trust them one bit. Maybe for sports betting, but collecting your money can be hard or they hit you with fees.

Question by Alex L: Are online casinos rigged?
Im playing blackjack at 888 after i downloaded their casino. Ive gone from 200 dollars to 3grand in about 20 minutes using the practice play. Is this a trick just to think that you could win with real money so you put in real money and they take it? Do these online casinos get checked out or anything? Thanks for any info.

No, its the same, but you are brave when you play for free.
There are better casinos anyway. I never liked 888. You can check here http://www.betting-forum.com/online-casinos-reviews.php

Question by Dainty: 888.com account hacked, winnings taken, will i get them back?
Made an account on 888.com, played a bit of blackjack was on a winning streak so made one big bet and it came in! Ended up with ,800. (about 4 grand)
Tried to get on the following day kept coming up as ‘you are logged on another server’.
When i eventually got back into my account my winnings had all been reversed and used up on games and also and extra deposited 50 ( 2.700 GBP)or so from my bank account.
I’ve since rang the bank and they have reimburse me the 2700 that was taken from my bank which is a big weight off my chest, ive spoken to 888.com and they have said they are investigating it,
will it be likely i’ll be able to get my winnings back?
Anyone who can shed some light on this kinda thing itll be much appreciated.
Thanks
