The irony is in "european" roulette , most europeans don't like to play european roulette.

This is because this game can be controlled and the house has a very unfair advantage.

Personally I know some croupiers can spin the zero if they want to. So unless you are

colluding with the croupier, chances are you will lose in this game. Save your money

for better things mate !

There are no strategies that will give you a big chance of winnings, even the least chance. The fact will always remain that roulette is a game of chance that no strategies will work out against it.

There is no strategy or betting system that will help you win unfortunately.

There are strategies and systems that you can play to help spice up the game. Unfortunately you'll lose more long-term with these than just flat betting, but it'll at least add fun.

There's systems like the Martingale, d'Alembert, Base Two and Labouchere.

the odds are always stacked against you so even if you win in the short term you ALWAYS end up losing
the ONLY form of gambling where you can make it pay is poker, but i would stay away from online poker, i don't trust it at all
playing live is a lot more fun and you can make your money last much longer
read some books and learn from online tutorials, don't just dive in and play without the necessary knowledge to make money
money management is the key factor

Really greedy, aren't you?

Bet every number except 0 and 1. You'll win almost 95% of the time. You are welcome.

Of course, when you win, it'll hardly be any money, and when you lose, you'll lose all your winnings plus a little more... but you will win almost 95% of the time.

(You didn't actually think there was a strategy to guarantee a profit did you? And if there was, that someone would just tell you on here?)

Sounds like you are losing that money in some way regardless.

I think this is a great program and a great idea in your class. I will give you my top ten "Rules to live by" when it comes to blackjack. I use these rules and never play without them. I win about 70%-75% of the time when I go to the casinos and consider myself an excellent player. Here they are:

10) Never split 10's. 10-10 is 20 which is a winning hand. Why would you want to break up a winning hand?

9) Always hit 12 against a dealer's 2. Dealers only break when showing a 2 around 30% of the time.

8) Always split Aces and 8's.

7) Always play the lowest limits possible. I am sure it is a psychological reason, but I feel pressure when I play at higher limits. Play at small limits even if you plan on betting bigger.

6) Always and I mean ALWAYS double down on an 11. Don't even think twice about it, just do it.

5) Always hit soft 17's and 18's. A-7 (18) can always be improved. There are more cards in the deck that can help you than hurt you, so hit the soft 17's and 18's.

4) Always ask for advice if you don't know what to do. Blackjack is a team game. Ask fellow players and even the dealer what to do if you are unclear about a move.

3) Never play more than one hand. The odds are already stacked against you with one hand. Why would you want to have 2 hands where the odds are stacked against you?? Stick with one hand only.

2) Surrender, surrender, surrender! A lot of players don't even know that the surrender option exists, but if you have a 15 or 16 against a dealer's 9, 10 or Ace -Surrender (If the casino allows it-some don't). Get half of your bet back and get out of a bad situation.

And 1) Bet big when you are on winning streaks and smaller when you are on losing streaks. This is the most important rule that I can stress. Everyone can play by the book and the casino still has a 2%-3% advantage over the player. Money is made in this game on the wagering. Bet big on your lucky streaks and when you go on a losing streak, bet very small. Minimize your losses, maximize your wins and you can come out ahead more often than not.

Good question and good luck!!

For starters check Basic Strategy, Learn it, Fully understand it, and then and only then can you decide to deviate from it if you choose.

Be consistent in what you do, if you have 12 and the dealer shows a 2, either hit it all the time, or don't ever hit it.

Playing the same ensures that you don't alter your play based on the size of your bet. Some people will play loose when the bet is small, and tighten up with a larger bet because they don't want to bust and automatically lose.

Different variations have different rules. Single Deck usually pays 6:5 where a standard table pays 3:2 for blackjack. Other games like Spanish 21 has no 10's (it has all face cards, but no 10's) you can double down, then double double, etc. So, in Spanish 21, you might see someone double down on a 5, hoping to catch a 6 or less and double again if the dealer has a favorable card.

Know the house rules, it's rare, but some places stay on soft 17.

Side Bets? Make sure you know exactl what you're betting on if you choose to take the proposition. Some examples include being dealt 20 in your first 2 cards...being dealt a pair, or dealt 2 cards of the same suit.

The main thing to remember is in Blackjack, the idea is not to get 21, but rather beat the dealer, and when the dealer busts, you win regardless what he has. That's the premise behind basic strategy.
