I’m writing a little blackjack program for a class that is supposed to “teach the ropes of live blackjack play” rather than just have fun playing blackjack. I intend to have a LOT of messageboxes popping up with tips.

What are little blackjack tips like “generally you shouldn’t hit above 17 unless the dealer has 18″ or “if you get dealt two 10’s you can split it and place another bet” or something like that.

First of all, those two tips are wrong. You should NEVER hit if you have a hard 17 or higher (assuming you aren’t counting cards) and you should also NEVER split 10’s

“Always split Aces and Eights” is a good one.
“Double Down on Eleven” is another one.

Look up Basic Strategy for the best way to play Blackjack if you aren’t counting cards.

Here’s the info.
-the wheel is digital
Meaning it can’t be changed physically like notching the edges
And you can’t hook a machine up to it to measure the speed of deceleration etc
-the ball is digital
No bouncing etc
-there is no dealer
So there is no dropping the ball or getting a bearing or stacking the odds via dealer
-there are no bet limits
Any where from 1- 999999 chips
-you can only take out 100 chips every 24 hours
The chips can not be cashed in and can only be used as currency within the casino for various prizes

The layout is
37 slots ranging from 0 green to 36 black
The pattern being green red black red black red black and so on
You can bet on any number
And another space for 1-12 13-24 and 25-36
Then spaces for black and red

Odds, strategies, etc would be appreciated
For layout on the table.
The slots are clockwise
Green, Red,Black and so on.

Not sure, but I do know that one spin of the wheel has no bearing on future spins, so having a free spin option is worthless.

If you think 5 reds in a row means that black is “due”, then good luck.

I have heard that this betting system is unseccesful, but i need some prove or an explanation of why it would not work. If i was had 5000 to gamble with and go to a blackjack table and bet 5 dollars for the minimum and then double each time, then i could bet 10 times before i went broke. I know there is a max bet on a low table with a 5 dollar min but couldnt i just move to a higher staks table that will accept a bet for 2560. I understand i could potentally be betting thousands to just win 5 dollars, but i believe the chances of lose 10 hands in a row in is about 1/1000. It sounds good to me with those odds.

Yes, the probability of losing ten hands in a row is about 1/1000.

But when that roughly 1/1000 chance happens, you LOSE 15. This is assuming you don’t double or split anything.

So…999/1000 times you win …yay

but that 1/1000 times you lose 15…

So, after ten hands your average win would be:

(999/1000)* – (1/1000)*,115 = -.12

So you should expect to win negative 12 cents!

Wait…negative cents aren’t things you want to win. Yes on average you would lose .12 on 10 hands. In reality it would slightly be more than this because the chances of losing 10 hands in a row is slightly larger than 1 in 1000 (but its close enough to make the point).

Now if you had an infinite bankroll, infinite table limits, and infinite time…then this system could possibly work. Unfortunately none of these things exist to us.

All three have free parking in their own parking structures, as well as valet parking.

Motorcity has the best buffet.

Greektown is the safest because it is in a high traffic touristy area with lots of busy restaurants around.

Im particularly interested to know about roulette because i enjoy it the most!In my local casino i know its basically 50 50 when the ball spins but id like to think its like that online too?Surely its illegal for the people who run these sites to tamper with the games and essentially just rob the people who play them because that would be just daylight robbery!Can they be trusted or can they just rob people and get away with it?

it’s completely trustworthy.. its a multi-billion dollar industry that is regulated with random number generators. What you have to understand about games like Roullette is that the house is always narrowly favoured, its not quite 50/50. Roullete pays 36/1.. this discounts the zero. The zero is the house edge.

I like playtech casinos my self. I just really like the play and the way the user interface is set up on most of the playtech casinos I have played at. The cashier is also really really easy to use. I will say that I think Rival has some of my favorite games but for my money…..(and it is my money lol) its playtech.
